Acu-Rite SENC 150 Scale Fitted to Kearns-Richards Horizontal Borer X-Axis

This particular CNC repair in Hampshire involved replacement of an old Anilam scale with a 2.5 meter replacement Acu-Rite SENC 150 scale, fitted to the customers’ Kearns-Richards horizontal borer X axis. The installation also included a 25 meter extension cable which ran through the machine, to work with the customers’ existing pendant-mounted DRO display unit.

The SENC 150 Scale from ACU-RITE is a suitable scale for all applications. The compact and robust design, and the numerous possibilities for mounting, make it ideal for retrofitting. The slight dimensions and high accuracy of this ball-bearing guided scale/encoder, which uses the reflected light method, are ideal prerequisites that can be used in metrology applications.
