HEIDENHAIN & Seimens Replacement Cables – CNC/TNC Repairs
Sometimes CNC/TNC and DRO parts and components just wear out and need to be replaced. Cables are a common component for replacement as they are often subjected to movement during the operation of CNC machinery, which can cause wear and ultimately, failure over time.
In this example, EEC replaced an X-axis Siemens Motor Power cable and Heidenhain X-axis motor encoder cable on a Bridgeport VMC 1000 & Heidenhain TNC 426 control. Whilst running the new cables through the machine – removing covers/guards, we determined that the X-axis Heidenhain LS 486C linear scale was working happily – albeit with contamination on the outside. This is a testament to the high-quality manufacture and reliability of HEIDENHAIN TNC, CNC, and DRO products and components.
