HEIDENHAIN ND7013 DRO Display Fitted To An EMCO lathe
EEC Ltd were commissioned to fit a replacement HEIDENHAIN ND7013 Digital Readout (DRO) display to an EMCO lathe, replacing a defective factory-fitted option which the customer was having major issues with. Using genuine signal and cable adapters the HEIDENHAIN ND7013 DRO is a plug and play option requiring minor parameter changes in order to dovetail flawlessly with existing scale and axis encoders.

With its clearly organized and user-friendly user interface, operation of the HEIDENHAIN ND 7013 is very simple. The 7-inch TFT monitor displays all the information you need to machine your workpieces. Its low-profile aluminium housing with integrated power pack and fan-less passive cooling is extremely sturdy and tolerant to negative influences. The unit’s intuitive touchscreen made of specially hardened glass can even be operated with gloves.
